My 2014 winter holiday card. Watercolour on 140lb Arches cold press, 10x7. I did this really fast and loose, just using some basic Sumi-e strokes with regular watercolour paints and a round 12 and 4. Reds were Perm. Alizerin Crimson, Perm. Rose, Quin Magenta, and a touch of Quin. Scarlet. Black was an even mix of French Ultramarine Blue and Quin. Burnt Orange. Image run through Gimp to set white balance and square it up, plus add a bit of border.
